Product Specifications
This brand-new quality adapter, as shown in figure 1, is consisted of:
One 16pin OBD diagnostic socket to RS232 9pin interface, and
One serial cable (1.8 m or 6 feet)
This interface (adapter) is used as an interface and a serial cable to connect a VW/AUDI vehicle to a PC for on-board diagnostics (OBD). It is fully co***tible with the diagnostic software version 409.1 from VAG-COM. VAG-COM is a software program that turns your PC into a sophisticated VW/Audi diagnostic tool, which performs the functions of a factory VAG-1551 or VAG-1552 scan tool and more.
VAG-COM is a Windows-based Diagnostic Software for VW / Audi / Seat / Skoda that emulates the functions of the dealers' very expensive proprietary scan tools. As the first aftermarket VAG-Tool, it has the following features:
1.Is fully co***tible with all VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda models through 2005, including models using a direct CAN connection for diagnostics.
2.Has a database of more than 7500 fault-codes and measuring-block texts.
3.Can use the new 7-Digit PIN/SKC codes to match new keys in all immobilizer equipped
a)VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda models.
4.Allows you to view, log, and graph 3 groups of Measuring Blocks at once
5.Can access all control modules which require proprietary VAG modes running the new
a)KWP-2000 protocols (2001+ Teves Mk.60 ABS, numerous 2002+ modules)
6.Can display critical timing information on TDI engines in graphic form
